Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music
By Vincent Morgan

In today's ILTV broadcast from Tel Aviv's "Cruising Israel" segment,
the Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music is featured in this video
beginning at 13:01: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Limz2VBRcjM
Attachment thumbnail The Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music is the collection of Nisan Cohen, a native of Philadelphia who used to have toy stores in Philadelphia and Manhattan, New York, called "The Last Wound Up". He closed his stores and moved to Israel where he began to build a collection of music boxes, which eventually branched out into other instruments as well. Schools take their students there. The students then beg their parents to take them back. Then the parents insist that their neighbors visit. The Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music in Ein Hod, just south of Haifa, is a "Must See" for anyone, Israeli or tourist. When you go there tell Nisan that Vincent Morgan sent you.
