Following Don Cain's advice [171228 MMDigest] I have borrowed various
books on restoring music boxes.  I have successfully removed the comb,
let down the spring fully.  I then removed the governor assembly, with
no damage.  Then I removed to two screws holding the spring assembly
to the base plate.

Now my problem is that I cannot lift the spring assembly away from the
base plate because the cylinder shaft is preventing it.  I need a little
advice, please.
