I use VirtualBox to run programs on my Windows 10 machine that
otherwise do not run for various reasons. I have virtual XP installed.

It is a bit of work to get printers, etc., working but you can
probably install a PDF program like PDF creator (free) and install
a virtual printer in XP, print to a PDF and then put that in the shared
files folder and print it from Win 10.

Most programs work for me in Win 10; occasionally I need to use
compatibility mode for Win 7. If you are running Windows 10 64-bit you
are more likely to have problems and might need the VirtualBox method.

I also keep a few XP machines around for more than occasional jobs that
require it.
