Unusual German "HS" Piano Roll 298 mm Wide
By Bob Yoder

Dear friends of the pianola, I just bought a set of piano rolls of
Imperial, Orchestrelle, Odeola and other well-known brands. But I also
have five rolls from a mysterious "HS" Schutzmarke (copyright notice),
made in Germany. The cut seems specific, and some rolls have square
punches.

The most noticeable thing is that the rolls are 29.8 cm (11.75") wide.
Even setting the roller bar at maximum, it doesn't fit at all!

Any ideas about this brand and the instrument they are made for?
