Knoebels Amusement Resort Band Organs, Part 3/3
By Cassidy Juraniec

The Wurlitzer 165 Band Organ and the Carousel Museum

Hello! My good friend, Tom Iannucci, and I paid a visit yesterday
to Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania; see
https://knoebels.com/

This is the third of three articles I am writing about Knoebels.
This one will cover the carousel museum and the Wurlitzer 165 there.

Just outside a gift shop is a Wurlitzer 165 organ that constantly
plays as guests walk by. It is a nice sounding 165 band organ they
have there. Here is my video of the Wurlitzer 165 from Knoebels:

The other remaining parts of the former Clementon Park carousel (PTC #49), aside from the Wilhelm Bruder Soehne (WBS) Model 79 48-keyless organ that plays style 125 rolls, are two horses that are now on display since it was sold for scrap. Knoebels Amusement Resort itself is a carousel and band organ enthusiast's paradise. The museum itself is the icing on the cake.
