Wurlitzer "R" Organ Roll Player
By Richard Cole

My thanks to Robbie for his reply concerning Wurlitzer "R" rolls
[200502 MMDigest]. In fact, my partner had created rectangular labels
using the circular labels as a basis. Comparing these new creations
with the sample images sent by Robbie has shown that they are virtually
identical!

I have now found first names for a couple of the organists. It seems
almost certain that there were two "Gibsons". There is a James Gibson
AND an Archer Gibson.

Does anyone have a list of their "RJ" rolls? Most of the organists
were common to both systems.

Thanks again,

Richard Cole
