        I think you caught the goals, but you mixed them up. I wish to make
     a cylinder for an original song. I'm not picky about how or what it is
     made of (yet) but I agree that a brass one is astetically pleasing,
     especially since I plan for the movement to be viewed.
        Larry was talking about some new technology of using an epoxy or
     polymer to make cylinders and place pins in them by a different method
     other than the traditional one.

        Thank you for your offer to work up an estimate for drilling a
     cylinder. Pondering this in my mind, I didn't think I could do it by
     hand, and actually get very close. I'll take you up on your offer when
     I actually figure out what the heck I'm doing.
