MIDI Files from Rag Site on WWW
By Rob DeLand

There's a neat web site for ragtime (http://andy.rudoff.com/~ragtimers/)
that has a bunch of MIDI files available for downloading. I can download
them to my Macintosh OK and I have StuffI expander, but I can't seem to
get the files into a readable format. I have the utility for tagging
files as "MIDI" but that just looks at my downloads as if they weren't
even candidates and refuses to p.

Has anyone else downloaded any of these files to a Mac, and had any luck?
I'll buy a commercial utility if necessary, but so far I'm stumped! Any
help would be appreciated.

Cheers,¶

 [ Editor's note:
[ I downloaded the .zip file containing all the midi files
[ and extracted them on a PC. I then built 4 700k floppies
[ and have found them to work fine on my Roland Sound Brush and
[ Roland Sound Canvas. I've got a Mac here, so I can do some
[ experiments this weekend. Anyone other Mac users here ???
