Mixing Piano Rolls

Jim,
This may be sacriledge but I have used drafting tape to cover the holes at
the end of my tracker bar and then have played reproducing rolls on an 88
note piano. I would say that if you can find the music that you want only on
Ampico, Duo-Art, Welte or some other special format, get it and play it on
your piano this way. Many Ampico rolls sound great even without the
expression activated. Good luck.
