Acronym for Our Digest
By Jill Miller

I must admit having some uniformity with all these acronyms would be a
blessing, I have about half a dozen others to do with music that are
difficult to keep up with when different people refer to them in their
own way. I think AMD is just fine for the digest, especially as you
have the "Article Archived Retreivals" indexed as "saved digests".
However, as for a name for a WWW Site I think the word Musical needs to
come first Perhaps Musical Instuments(Automatic/Mechanical, or the
other way around) with a thread to this Digest. I know the trouble I
have had with searches, it's taken me two years plus to get this far!!
With the first word being Automatic and or Mechanical I can see
hundreds of people getting lost amongst machines or cars, especially if
they are using a search engine that does not have the and or not
feature. I noticed Beatrice had success with mechanical, however there
may be others like me who just do not think they are mechanical or
automatic whereas we are all musical??

My learning curve has certainly gone up since reading this digest,
congratulations on the diversity of subject interests, I can see the
more I find out the less I realize I know.
