Re: Keller and Sons Reproducing Piano
By Dave Fowler

Well all,

I've got more (but not much more) information about that Keller & Sons
reproducing piano. I went out to see it today (although I had to
change quite a number of appointments) and saw a gutted piano with no
name on the fall board, no name on the plate, no reference of any kind
in the way of a serial number in its usual place... you know, a John
Doe.

As far as the player is concerned, there is no drawer... but,
interestingly, there are push rods (independent of the stack) sticking
through the underside of the keybed, only the bottom half of the
standard pedal lyre (the top half is all cast trap work for mechanical
pedaling, and that's about it. Any ideas????

Thanks for you input, Dave Fowler (kiigoretrt@aol.com)
