"Keen Kut Ups" in Tasmania
By John Phillips

As my email is at work I don't get to read the weekend MMDs until Monday.
When I read the interesting article on Armand Muth and Rudy Erlebach by
Frank Himpsl, in the March 6th MMD, I thought that "Keen Kut Ups" sounded
familiar. There's a copy of it on my shelves. How on Earth it got to
Tasmania I don't know.

I played it last night and would say that it's quite OK, but not a
worldbeater. This Staffnote roll was obviously cheaply produced; there's
no sustain, although that may have been because of the staccato nature of
the music, and there's no printed material on the roll at all. But the
roll is in pretty good shape if anybody wants to copy it.

John Phillips.

[ I suspect you have a very rare roll, John. Thanks for your
 [ kind offer. -- Robbie
