Personal Thanks
By Will Albert

I must admit that I was not surprised from the response I received from
My request for info on organ player rolls (Gately Mfg. Co.). All I had
heard was how much the Internet responded to requests for info. This
request was the first I ever made and I do not know the protocol. Do I
answer with a thank you note? Do I answer all e-mail received? Should
I sent you (MMD) a carbon copy?

I have enjoyed your MMD and was surprised that I could contribute to
it, although I have not learned, yet, how to open my word processor or
text editor for reading after downloading. (file 970319mm.txt) My info
request was adequately answered.

Thank you for your help and to all your members and to the others who
answered my request.

Sincerely, Willard S. Albert

 [ Editor's note:
 [
[ A thank you directly to the sender would be appropriate. We
[ do, from time to time, print thank you's here. I still get
[ a kick out of how fast (sometimes) the Internet can solve problems.
