J. Lawrence Cook Personal Master Recording Piano
By Vincent Morgan

This is Hi Babit's take on the green J. Lawrence Cook piano
offered on e-Bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330320920074

I see that the bidding at eBay has stopped for that green piano.
This is not the piano I used with Cook. I never saw this one.

The piano I used with Cook was in the 57th Street building of
Aeolian. I will look for the picture of Cook's piano in the
  New York room.

I see the tubing, but where does it go? I don't know where the
tubing was connected, to make a roll. I would think that the
tubing is a bit dried out to work with.

Cook used to fix his piano with rubber bands and glue and paper
clips. He knew his machine, so he was able to make simple
  corrections.

[ I believe the hoses were connected to a "stepping perforator"
[ very much like the one displayed at QRS in Buffalo, New York,
[ and the piano and its companion perforator were in Cook's home.
