Illustrated Picture Rolls
By Jeffrey Borinsky

John Wolff says

> One of the favourites in my house is "Aeolian Song Roll 26199, Nursery
> Rhymes Roll 1, Illustrated, Stanton, Made in Great Britain". It has 6
> excellent Themodist arrangements of children's nursery rhymes.

There are (at least?) two more rolls in the series, both beautifully
illustrated with good performances. Not only are some of the words
different from those I learnt as a kid, but also some of the tunes. "Baa
Baa Black Sheep" (not to be confused with "Hello Dolly" :>) has a rather
nice tune that harmonises with the well-known melody.
