Early Stoddard Ampico
By Bob and Sonja Lemon

We have taken on the project of straightening out an owner rebuilt early
Chickering Stoddard Ampico grand. The player mechanism is _not_ an
Amphion. The tracker bar has the staggered tracking holes, like the
Standard or Autopiano. The infinitely variable modify control has more
holes in it than the later Stoddard switches that were used on the
uprights.

The manual push buttons have 2 holes each and there are 2 suction supply
tubes located in their vicinity. The drawer suction connects with a 3/4"
nipple located on bottom of the treble side of the drawer. There is air
channeling in the drawer bottom. The expression mechanisms and pedal
controls are all mounted in one module in the back. It also has internal
channeling.

Help! What we need is a tubing chart! Does anyone have one?

Thanks, Bob Lemon¶
