John, please tell us about the methods used to make these conversions.

[ Tom Steuer has a pushup-player (Vorsetzer) which plays the keys of his
[ Yamaha Disklavier recording piano, thus he records _his_ piano playing
[ from _his_ player. A more generic method is used by Wayne Stahkne,
[ who prefers to transfer the data from the music roll into the computer
[ and then make the computer emulate the pneumatic reproducing piano, to
[ create the Disklavier output file. Artis Wodehouse used a combination
[ of both of these methods for her Gershwin CD project. -- Robbie
