Trimming Plastic Keytops
By Les Smith

By far, the quickest and easiest way to trim plastic keytops is on a
bench-model 1-inch belt sander. The work goes very quickly. Some form
of dust collection is recommended. Minimal amount of hand trimming
required afterwards.
