"A hobbyists table saw with a 4- or 5-inch blade" sounds like a
table saw made by Dremel.  It is a scaled down version of a regular
table saw for working small pieces.

I have no idea what it costs, but remember seeing one in a local
Orchard Supply Hardware store several years ago, before they were
acquired by Sears .
