Convert Artrio-Angelus into Duo-Art
By D. L. Bullock

Terry, Terry, Terry! You are willing to make an extremely rare piece
into one that is merely mundane? Your suggestion is akin to pulling out
the Angelus and replacing it with a Piano Disc unit.

If you could accomplish your desire by a switch that would allow the
playing of BOTH Duo Art and Artrio Rolls that might be acceptable to
some. But I think we have lost entirely too many rare birds in the
player piano field to continue to gut the rare instruments left.

If you wish to make sure it gets to a good home, then sell it to a
collector who can truly appreciate it for what it *IS* not what it used
to be. I and any number of others on this list-server would be interested
in it. I would be happy to trade it for a standard player, of which I
have many. I am sorry if I sound harsh, but you know better than to
actually do this, don't you?
