Tuners and Direct Electric Valves for Organs
By Nelson Denton

Hi there -- I would suggest that a good source of direct electric valves
is Peterson Electro-Musical Products, tel: 708 388-3311. They make
electronic switching systems for pipe organs and parts for pipe organs
and also many styles of tuners. They are the worlds largest supplier
of electronic hardware for the organ community. It's well worth visiting
their web site:

The Super Valves they make are suitable for a much higher wind pressure
than normal valves, and valves can be made for any voltage or resistance
desired.

The tuners they make are also very good -- I've used a Model 320 tuner
for 20 years without any breakdowns. I've dropped it, kicked it, sat on
it, ate my lunch off it, left it in the rain, etc., and it still works
perfectly. Plus it comes with a full 10-year warrantee, as do all their
products. I would highly recommend their products -- and I buy all my
switching systems from them.

Also I just found a web page called Music Yellow Pages:

    http://musicyellowpages.com

They seem to have a good listing of suppliers of musical instrument
manufacturers and a listing of tuner makers.
