Jack Schott and "Fort Worth Organ Factory"
By Matthew Caulfield

I wonder if the name Jack Schott means anything to anyone here on MMD.
As I poke around into Wurlitzer history, his name comes up now and then,
more often than not in connection with the "Fort Worth Organ Factory,"
another shadowy entity where some of the early organ recordings are said
to have been made.

Any information about Jack Schott, the organ factory, or leads to people
who might remember would be helpful.

I may eventually put an inquiry in the hobby journals where people like
Texan Alan Bies, who aren't on MMD (silly of them), might see it. But
this is free and hits a knowledgeable group of people; so I am starting
here.
