International Music Box Registry
By Larry Greenfield

Hi Bea -- A great idea to have more music box input to the MMD; I may
not know too much, but I'll sure learn a lot, and if MMDers don't mind,
I'll describe some of my boxes from time to time which I think other
MMDers and especially music box folk may find interesting -- perhaps
one of my boxes may have a long lost relative somewhere.

At your suggestion, I sent info on my music boxes to the International
Music Box Registry. I received very nice letter that they had received
my package. They very much appreciated the cash donation that went
along with the Registry sheets and were hoping that more people who
sent info to the registry would also send cash, as the Registry is all
voluntary. They have registered over 5300 boxes, mostly cylinder, as
the Registrar says there is less interest in disc boxes and organettes
than in cylinders. That's all folks.
