'Treasures of Mechanical Music'
By Bob Conant

For those who are not familiar with this book, it was compiled by Art
Reblitz and Dave Bowers and contains a wealth of historical information
about many musical instrument companies. The core material, however,
is a vast listing of tracker bar scales for band organs, player pianos,
player organs, organettes and, I believe, some music boxes.

I am 3000 miles from my copy so I can't verify the music boxes, but I
have extensively used the player, orchestrion and band organ scales.
One copy was auctioned at the Chicago MBSI convention in 1996 for $500.

I would expect the retail cost if the book were reprinted would be in
the $80 range. It is almost as big as the Encyclopedia. Hope this is
of some use.
