I want to say 'thank you' to everyone who wrote in to MMD or to me
privately about the "Treasures of Mechanical Music" and "Player Piano
Treasury" books being withdrawn from my local library.  I was able to
borrow these books from another library through inter-library loan and
was able to obtain the information that I needed.

Not only were the two books mentioned above withdrawn from the library,
but all books related to mechanical music were gone, such as "Put
Another Nickel In".  I had visited that section of books many times
over the years and was always happy to see these books on the shelf.
Couldn't they have left at least one of these books available for
patrons?

I will continue to follow up on the fate of these former library books
hoping for a slim chance that they are still lurking somewhere in the
library holding area.
