Dead Motor on 1969 Kimball Player
By Debbie Legg

Does anyone have experience with this particular Kimball model?
Several different electronic designs were used over a few decades.

This particular Kimball has two electric drive motors: one for forward
and one for rewind. The electric vacuum pump and all switches, which
are pouch activated leaf switches, work fine. Unit will rewind but not
go forward (play). It is not a gear problem as the forward motor will
not even run. Maybe the forward motor is dead?

Anyway, I could use some suggestions and maybe parts. The customer is
real anxious to get the player working.

Thanks in advance for any help.
