Gelatin for Glue
By Gloria Schack

After some thought the last few days, I realize the gelatin substitute
for glue idea cannot work well. The fact is that gelatin eventually
gets soft at room temperature ('Jell-o' molds are kept refrigerated until
they're served), so even if you used a concentrated solution, it's a
pretty good bet the "glue" could soften and fail on a warm day. Just
imagine the possibilities if the restored piece gets transported on a
highway in the middle of August!
