Hot Hide Glue and "Jell-O" Gelatin

After asking about the use of "Jell-O" (gelatin) as glue I found
that there are a couple of pages related to hide glue and gelatin on
a guitar building site.  This site deals specifically with the use of
un-flavored gelatin as an adhesive:
