F. A. Schwartz Music Box

A friend recently purchased an old music box while shopping an antique
store. Neither of us know much about music boxes but have seen them on
display in many stores. We were wondering if you could tell us a
little bit about this music box if you recognise the manufacturer.

It's kind of hard to read the first two initials, but it looks like
F.E. or F.A Schwartz. The manufacture date is printed on the mechanism
as the year 1888.

The box is about 18 to 24 inches long and about 8 to ten inches deep.
It is a cylinder type with the capability of playing twelve different
tunes which is controlled by a dial with the numbers one through twelve.

Would appreciate any info for two beginners who don't know too much
but appreciate the craftsmanship of this type of mechanism. Thank you
for your time
