Route to Thursford Museum
By John Page, UK

Shirley Nix asked about the location of the Thursford Museum, and
directions from London.

To some extent it depends where you start, but the most straightforward
route would be to take the A10 north to Kiong's Lynn -- a distance of
about 100 miles from Central London. Then turn East round the by-pass
(A149) and take the A148 to Fakenham. Continue on the A148 for another
six miles to Thursford village, and the museum is signposted to the
left along winding lanes. The museum is about 28 miles from King's
Lynn.
