Politically Correct Complaints
By Mark Forer

Mr. D. L. Bullock writes about Politically Correct piano lyrics and
talks about very little in the way of Jewish references.

Here's one, from the fox-trot "Insufficient Sweetie" from '24-'25:

"... they say the day will come when you will understand
(that's when a Rabbi'll be the Kleegle of the Ku Klux Klan!).
Insufficient Sweetie, you're insufficient to me."

Or the hit fox-trot, "Where is My Meyer?"

Or, "Whose Izzy Is He? (Is He Yours or Is He Mine?)".

As I am Jewish myself, and collect old records and rolls, I find myself
complaining about these references:

I'm complaining 'cause I just wish there were more of them to collect,
listen to, and enjoy!

Regards, Mark Forer
