Politically Incorrect Music Media
By Nancy Fratti

Well, that would depend on what political environment/time you were
in, wouldn't it? Back when that music was written those types of
tune titles were the "common". I'm not to say that it was "right",
but it is part of the social history of that time.

Regina, and other American-made brands, had disc titles that are
now considered P.I. titles, including "All Coons Look Alike to Me",
"Mammy's Little Pumpkin Colored Coon", etc., generically termed
"Coon Songs." I particularly like these tunes not because of the
titles, but because of the toe-tappin' music on the disc (or piano
roll)!

If we keep selectively tossing pieces of history, be it music, statues
or anything else, because it's not the current P.C. thinking, soon
there will be very little of it around to remind future generations
of how stupid and ignorant man can be and how we should learn from our
past.

Just my opinion.
