Gustav Fiedler Piano
By Roger Waring

Hi all. A friend of mine has asked me about an upright piano he wishes
to dispose of. It is a Gustav Feidler of Leipzig instrument. It is
overstrung and underdampered, and carries the serial number 14791. It
was purchased from Harrods of London and has their number 30303 on it.

Is it a good make? Is it anything special? It has been painted white
apparently, and I would appreciate any advice before I tell them to
advertise it in the local mart.

Many thanks

Roger Waring
