Mechanical Music Sites Around the World
By Larry Lobel

I'd like to suggest that the MMD web site should maintain a listing
of mechanical musical museums and related spots.

We frequently see inquiries and responses on the MMD from members
traveling to far off places; instead of repeating these, why not
collect and organize them so members can be referred to a spot on
the web site which will direct them to the MMI sites in the specific
geographic area they're interested in?

 [ Larry,
[ As MMD's visibility increases on the Web and as more people
[ get on the Web we're receiving more and more inquiries which
[ need "canned" answers. I've got some ideas cooking about how
 [ to manage a "distributed FAQ writer's group". We've had a
[ few volunteers offer to write sections of an FAQ, and in fact
[ we've received a couple of sample FAQ articles which was
[ encouraging. I'm still formulating a way to mange it though...
