Canadian Legal Problem: Ivory Keytops
By Mike Walter

Dear Friends,

I sent an e-mail to the Canadian Prime Minister the other day,
expressing my concern over the policies which the Canadian government
has concerning the import of ivory on old pianos. The next day I
received the attached e-mail. I will keep you informed of developments
as they are made.

Best wishes,

Mike Walter

Please be assured that Mr.* Chretien appreciates the time and care
that you have taken in writing to him. While he would like to respond

Canada, on matters in his/her jurisdiction.

The Honourable Herb Dhaliwal, Minister of National Revenue, is
responsible for the matter you raised and your message has been
forwarded to him directly. You may rest assured that the Minister*s
