Reproducing Roll Conversions
By Julian Dyer

There's more out there than Ampico! How about automatically creating
Duo-Art coding from MIDI files? Harder, perhaps, with the decision about
what's Theme and what's Accompaniment?

Instead, what about raiding the theme-accompaniment Artrio and
Triphonola systems' libraries for conversion to Duo-Art. All that's
needed there is to map the dynamics and stick with the theme holes the
original editor created. There's some pretty good stuff available, and
if a good job could be done it would be an exciting addition to the
roll library.
