Apollophone Player Piano
By Hal Davis

There was one in Jackson several years ago that I worked on a couple
of times doing minor work. It was owned by a George Robbins on Lansing
Avenue. I believe he has passed away now but he had a son that was
taking up piano tuning and probably inherited it. I suppose that he
is in the Jackson area.

Anyway, I've seen some of the rolls for the piano but never saw any
that had anything to do with operating the phonograph in conjunction
with it. My thinking was that the phonograph was strictly for use as
a record player as an alternative to the piano.

Interesting piano, anyway.
