Hi gang,  Joe Schumacher continues to improve daily.  His speech has
essentially returned and he is more alert than ever.  However, he still
has very little use of his right side.  For those who wish to send
notes to his new address below, please refrain from mentioning writing
articles for the MBSI Journal or attending meetings, etc.  Most of you
are already aware that Joe has had over 40 articles published in the
various MBSI Bulletins and Journals.  Although his spirits are must
brighter (after two months in the hospital), he doesn't know when or if
he will ever be able to participate in the MBSI, as he did for over 30
years.  His eyes "fill up" when I chat about such things.

This morning, Joe was moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation/
recovery center near his home.  He would love to hear from each one of
you.  Joe now knows that recovery will take up to 6 more months.  And
he is now able to read each letter and card.  It really helps to fill
the "long days ahead".   His new address is:
