Rebuilding Wurlitzer Valves
By Craig Brougher

Howard Wyman wondered how to seal new pouches in Wurlitzer valves.
There's two ways to do it. You can seal the leather in the skin before
punching them out, and then glue them in with the rough side toward the
valve, or you can glue them smooth side up and inject some thinned
silicone grease into the supply hole.

It's easy to smear it around with a small brush and seal it that way,
too. Don't forget the lifter disk before gluing down the pouch.

Watch out for porous pouch leather. You check this first on window
glass looking through to the outdoors for pinholes. Circle them so
you don't punch them out.
