Standard Player Piano Action Brochure
By Craig Brougher

In the message of Feb 1, '99, I caught a typo that sure was wrong.
I claimed that Standard Pneumatic Action Co. measured pneumatic valves
oscillating at 1250 cycles/second. As well as I recall, that just
can't be. I must have remembered wrong. As I think back, it was
probably 1250 cycles/minute.

Does anybody have that old fancy Standard Player Piano brochure?
It even contained samples of all their materials, where they came from,
and why Standard thought them to be superior.

I think of all the memorabilia in "Playerdom," that brochure was the
most interesting, authoritative, and valuable artifact I have ever
read. So, if you've seen one and have read it, please be sure to quote
it here! Thanks.
