Heintzman Piano With Aluminum Player Action
By Colin Hinz

The player action is almost certainly a "Metalnola" manufactured by
the Otto Higel Co. of Toronto. I've seen a Heintzman Metalnola in the
process of restoration, and the player mechanism was similar (but not
quite the same) as the Metalnola stack in my circa 1923 Karn.

What sort of information are you after? Rebuilding hints? Historical
or period documents?

regards,
