FilMusic PictureRolls
By Hal Davis

I have several dozen of them. I've been told that they were for use
in theaters where there were regular player pianos. That would usually
be a small neighborhood theater. Years ago I talked with Edgar Bergen
and he told me about his days as a child when he played such rolls on
a player piano in a theater in Buchanan, Michigan.

Incidentally, he told me his favorite roll to play was "The Burning
of Rome" followed by "Ben Hur Chariot Race".
