Solar Eclipse Reports
By Rich Marschner

Robbie, I know you occasionally wonder how much non-mechanical-music
material should be included in the Digest -- and 'tis a good question,
I agree -- but I want you to know how much I've enjoyed reading our
correspondents' reports from Europe on the total eclipse. It's the
most compelling writing I've seen on the subject, giving a reader the
sense of almost being there...

Thanks for including it.

Rich Marschner

[ Our correspondents abroad are excellent writers, aren't they !
[ Thanks for the feedback. MMDigest serves the reader's interests,
[ which are much broader than only mechanical music; I think that
[ an occasional diversion like this is good. Then we can return
[ to my favorite technical topic: glue ! ;) -- Robbie
