Good Player, Bad Piano

Thank you all for your informative replies, and your recommendations.
It seems that the only reasonable solution is to rebuild, and of
course, that's the option that seemed most logical -- but I suppose
I was looking for a shortcut.

I so appreciate the voice(s) of experience shared in MMD, especially
those in areas beyond my knowledge.  Thanks to all for taking time
to answer!
