Advertising at MMD
By Brian Chesters

My two pennith. If someone posts an item to eBay for public auction,
then it is in the public domain and should not be announced on MMD.
If however someone was to offer something for sale to the MMD readers
only, then that is another matter.

For instance, "For sale, Musical snuff box playing four Scottish airs,
$900 USD including packing and postage." I have now offered it to any
MMD subscriber at a fixed cost.

People who post to public auctions do so because they either don't know
how much to ask or are frightened that the MMDers will not pay the mar-
ket price for it, so they cover their backs by doing both.
