Towards the end of August I ordered a punched paper playing music box
from Le Turlutain Co. in France:

Ordering information is given on their web site. I sent my order snail
mail and received my music box, punch and paper strips on the 13th of
this month. I am delighted with my purchase and the personal attention
I received; experimenting with punching strips in anticipation of a
long El Nino winter; and planning woodworking/music box projects as
heirloom gifts for my grandchildren. There was no customs duty on the
purchase. I don't know if a larger purchase will kick in a customs
charge or not.

As many of you are no doubt handy with woodworking tools I would
suggest you might enjoy experimenting with making your own music boxes
and installing these movements. In any event, I am interested in
hearing from those of you out there who would be interested in
sharing/exchanging punched tunes.
