"Flamin' Mamie"
By John Rutoskey

The tune "Flamin' Mamie" is a great Coon-Sanders performance, and is
available on a compact disc compilation of Coon-Sanders material. The
disc is really great, and also features my favorite tune by them "Alone
in the Rain", a slow fox-trot more typical of a Rudy Vallee selection
than a vaudeville team.

The company that produces the disc, ASV, is European and they offer an
extensive variety of 20's and 30's music. Most larger record stores
(Borders and Best Buy for example) have lots of ASV discs.
