Ragtimers Y2K Disappointment
By Robbie Rhodes

For many years I have enjoyed the reports in the quarterly "Rag Times",
the newsletter of the Maple Leaf Club, founded by ragtimers David
Bourne and Dick Zimmerman in 1967. (Visit http://www.rag-time.com/ )

In the latest issue, Tracy Doyle (Dick's girlfriend) says that
all systems have little likelihood of Y2K calendar errors, but she
nonetheless expresses regret about Y2K compliance:

"... we are expecting a major disappointment at the turn of
the millennium ... We who publish The Rag Times were very much
looking forward to the year 1900."
