Composition for Phonola & 9 Sankyo Music Boxes
By Wolfgang Heisig

On 11 March 2000 in the concert-house "Podewil" in Berlin there
is a concert for the 70th birthday of Dieter Schnebel, a popular
German composer of experimental music. For this event I made a new
composition for Phonola and 9 Sankyo music boxes. The title is
"Opus 70".

Wolfgang Heisig

[ Since 1976 Dieter Schnebel is professor of experimental music
[ and musicology in Berlin. A short account in English about him
 [ is at http://schott-music.com/rep_fr_e.htm
 [
[ Wolfgang's name appears at the top of the list of concert events
[ shown at the web site of the Institute for New Music; see
 [ http://www.ifnm.hdk-berlin.de/schnebel70/index.html
 [ Congratulations Composer Heisig ! :-) -- Robbie
