The Only Way
By Jurgen Goering

Recently in the MMD I noticed numerous postings about the "only way"
way to do a certain job. My experience with instruments and in life
has confirmed for me that there is more than one way to skin the
proverbial cat.

There is one area where there is an "only way", and that is in
fundamentalist religion. Most MMD subscribers do not read the postings
every day to be preached at about the "only way". We want to find out
different ways of approaching a particular problem so that we can find
a solution that works for us.

What works for one person may not be successful for another. Also,
situations that sound the same in brief descriptions may not be
identical.

A little more tolerance and modesty is something I occasionally miss
in this forum.

Thank you.
